The Fragment of Time earrings are designed out of filigree - a form of intricate metalwork consisting of curled and twisted threads of gold or silver that has been in existence for thousands of years. In Ancient Greece, hoop earrings came to be worn as a way to define one’s sign of prosperity, religion and wealth in society.
