Derived from Greek mythology, these heirloom drop earrings are designed with the observe and reverse of a softly faded Greek coin of a griffin. The griffin, set as the focal point of this design, represents wisdom, strength and leadership. Cascading downwards are a collection of irregular lustrous pearls symbolizing the idea that we are forever being watched over by guardians above us.
Handmade in Vancouver from 24K Gold Vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated over sterling silver).
Strung with 5 freshwater keshi pearls (all pearls are organic and thus vary in exact size and shape).
Drop measures 2.5” in total length. Coin measures 1.5cm in diameter. Keshi pearls measure approx. 0.95cm in length (all pearls are organic and thus vary in exact size and shape).
