'Baia Cannone' Earrings

An ode to the idyllic swimming cove Baia Cannone, in the picturesque coastal town of Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy. These textural water drop earrings were designed using the ancient practice of cire-perdue - where the domed sculpture was formed from hot wax then hollowed out at the back to keep them lightweight. Reflecting decadently textural surfaces, these earrings represent the scalloped inlet to the bay. The Baia Cannone earrings beg us to embrace and admire the impossible beauty of our surroundings.

Handmade in Vancouver from 24K gold vermeil, hollowed out to keep them light. Earrings measure 2.7cm in length.
