Summer Breeze
As summer is quickly approaching, we are getting our closets ready for the warm weather ahead of us. Summer is the time for us to live in the moment and be carefree, an attitude that we try to replicate when choosing our wardrobes. We don’t want to fuss about our outfits, we want easy pieces that are soft and light, while still being chic and giving us cool-girl street credit.
It is now time to tuck away our cashmere *tear*, tweed, and merino wool, and pull out pieces that are open wovens or lightweight in nature. Certain fabrics, such as linen, cotton, and ramie, are great choices for those hot summer nights because they are breathable, keep us looking fresh, and can still be layered without feeling too heavy. The best part is that they are also transitional pieces that can be worn into fall and winter, layered under our sweaters and coats.
